Meet Benny
Benny the Bean is the face of Barista First. Benny's just a little guy but with a strong can-do attitude, he can accomplish just about anything. His color, like all the colors on this site, are sampled from actual coffee, both roasted and raw coffee cherries.
Meet Your Tech
Hello! My name is Taylor Yamanaka and I am the founder of Barista First Espresso Services. I've been in Specialty Coffee for nearly a decade, beginning in Tucson, Arizona. I worked as a barista and baker before I found an abandoned espresso machine in a shed that sparked my journey into the tech world. Learning what I could on my own, I then attended ICBA in Phoenix to complete my certificate in Intensive Technical Machine Maintenance, in addition to several other certificates in espresso and coffee brewing. It's an honor I get to work on machines and I'm so stoked to serve everyone in the San Diego coffee community.
